The ByWard Market is one of Ottawa’s greatest tourist attractions and a popular destination for shopping, dining, arts, and entertainment.  This summer, we’ve added another reason to visit.  The Art Bank has partnered with Canadian Heritage to mount an exhibition of reproductions of 16 artworks from the collection as part of the Art in the Courtyards series.
"Visionary and Daring: Canadian Women Artists" celebrates the 100th anniversary of the first Canadian women achieving the right to vote and features artworks by the following ground-breaking artists:

Kenojuak Ashevak, Molly Bobak, Eleanor Bond, Ghitta Caiserman, Marcelle Ferron, Betty Goodwin, Isabelle Hayeur, Wanda Koop, Rita Letendre, Landon Mackenzie, Sanaz Mazinani, Meryl McMaster, Daphne Odjig, Mary Pratt, Françoise Sullivan, and Joyce Wieland.

On now until October 2016!
