Gallery Artist Robert Burley is  featured in the group exhibition Identity: Art Inspired by the Great Lakes currently on display in the Lieutenant Governor’s Suite at Queen's Park, Toronto.

"The art in this exhibition is as varied as the changes that have washed over the Great Lakes. The artists have also included personal reflections with their paintings, photographs, sculpture, and social media, expanding on how the Great Lakes have inspired them. They show there is no single view of what the Great Lakes mean to us. That diversity is a fundamental part of our Ontario identity."

Gallery Artist Robert Burley will be featured as part of the group exhibition Residue: The Persistence of the Real at the Vancouver Art Gallery from June 12 until September 27.

"Residue: The Persistence of the Real features recent work in photography, video and film by Canadian and American artists Robert Burley, Stan Douglas, Babak Golkar, Geoffrey James, Brian Jungen & Duane Linklater, Catherine Opie and Amie Siegel. Although these challenges to the truth value of the image, along with the proliferation of digital imaging technologies, may have changed the way we perceive "realist" imagery, interest in work that describes the world has persisted and even expanded in terms of artists' production and in terms of interest on the part of gallery-going audiences."
