HOME ALONE
Dir. Chris Columbus (USA: 1990), 103 mins.

The McCallister family is preparing for their Christmas holiday to Paris, France.  The youngest McCallister child, Kevin gets into a fight with his older brother Buzz and is sent off to the attic for punishment.  During the night a storm knocks the power off, resetting all the alarm clocks and causing panic in the morning when the family rushes to make their flight on time.  It is not until the family is on the plane that they realize they have forgotten Kevin at home.  No one is able to get a flight home because of the busy holiday season.  Kevin has many adventures while home alone including tricking robbers, making friends with his elderly neighbor and enjoying the house to himself.
