Iconic Canadian Scenic Photographer George Hunter Died at 92 on Wednesday, at Credit Vallery Hospital in Mississauga

George Hunter is considered one of Canada's most traveled photographers. During his lifetime Hunter spent decades creating images across the Canadian landscape, as well as, photographing in well over one hundred countries.   

Hunter has been widely published across Canada, the USA, Europe and Japan, including four major photo spreads for TIME magazine.

Until his death Hunter was actively printing archival fine art prints from his original black and white negatives.

A memorial gathering is scheduled at 11 a.m. on April 20 at Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas St. E., Mississauga.
