HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS

House of Flying Daggers is set in 859 AD in the Feng Tian County during
the decline of the once great Tang Dynasty. Numerous rebel groups were
forming including the House of Flying Daggers. Jin (Takeshi
Kaneshiro), a police captain, given the task of searching out the
leaders of the revolution, helps a beautiful member of the Flying
Daggers rebel group, Mei (Zhang Ziyi), escape imprisonment that his
partner Leo (Andy Lau) put her in. However, while helping her find her
way home he finds himself falling in love with her. The film, by
Chinese director Zhang Yimou, is a fusion of martial arts action-drama
with a tragic romance.
