THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM

Based on the 1941 novel The Keys of the Kingdom is the chronicle of a
young Scottish priest, Father Chisholm, who is sent to China to
establish a Catholic parish among the non-Christian Chinese from 1878 to
1938. Over the sixty year period Father Chisholm comes across
hostility, isolation, disease and poverty which both humble him, but
also drives his determination to succeed
