He randomly selects to invade the home of the Hilliard family. While only planning to stay a night while he awaits his girlfriend, his stay ends up lasting several days after she never arrives.

This 1955 film stars Humphrey Bogart and Fredric March. The movie was directed by William Wyler and is based on a novel and play of the same name. The story was based loosely on actual events.
