NACHO LIBRE
Dir. Jared Hess (USA: 2006), 92 min. Nacho Libre stars Jack Black as a grown up orphan named Ignacio, who now works as a cook at the monastery where he grew up. He becomes a professional wrestler, an occupation frowned upon by the orphanage. Ignacio realizes that he can help the orphans of the monastery and in turn win the affections of Sister Encarnación, a newly arrived tutor, by becoming a Luchador and competing in Lucha libre events. The movie chronicles Ignacio’s adventures as he fights to prove himself.
